On January 8, 2026, the Xincheng Innovation Scholarship award ceremony was held at Zhengzhou University, strengthening the university-enterprise partnership through a long-term dedicated donation program.

Hosted by Cheng Xian, Dean of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, the event brought together university leaders, foundation representatives, faculty from multiple schools, and over 200 students. Attendees affirmed the value of the scholarship and discussed long-term collaborative plans for talent development.

Hu Shaowei, Vice President of Zhengzhou University, delivered an opening speech highlighting the university’s progress and encouraging students to pursue academic excellence, uphold integrity, and grow into responsible, capable young talents. Li Sugui, Chairman of the University Education Development Foundation, recognized Xincheng Innovation’s charitable initiative as a warm, growth-focused contribution to students.

Wang Zhi, founder of Xincheng Innovation and an alumnus of the university, established the scholarship to give back to his alma mater, passing forward the encouragement he received during his studies. He presented honor certificates to award-winning students at the ceremony.

The scholarship marks only the starting point of deeper collaboration. Leveraging its overseas branches in Europe and the US, Xincheng Innovation will support students pursuing further education abroad. The two sides will also expand cooperation in talent cultivation and research commercialization.

Ahead of the ceremony, Wang Zhi joined an "Outstanding Alumnus Face-to-Face" session, sharing his entrepreneurial journey, analyzing 20 years of employment trends, and advising students on career planning. He emphasized setting clear long-term goals rather than following trends blindly.
